Every Sunday, we gather together through fellowship with each other, singing gospel-centered songs, and hearing the Word of God preached in truth.
On the fourth Sunday of every month – and sometimes more frequently – we celebrate the Lord’s Supper together as a part of our morning worship. During this time we reflect on the symbolic meaning and significance of this rite:
1) Past: Remembering the sin-bearing death of Jesus for you (Matt 26:26-28; Mark 14:22-24; Luke 22:19-20, 1 Cor 5:6-8; 11:23-26)
2) Present: Communing with Jesus himself (1 Cor 10:14-16)
3) Future: Anticipating the coming feast with Jesus and his redeemed people (Matt 26:29; Mark 14:25; Luke 21:15-18; 1 Cor 11:26)
We celebrate these realities together with other believers as one body in Jesus. Any believers, irrespective of church membership, may participate in the Lord’s Supper. However, those who do not follow Christ are asked to abstain; and instead to consider the brilliant truths of the gospel, asking God to provide all they need to repent and believe in Jesus.
