Every year, we enjoy spending a fun night of costumes candy, meeting and greeting, with our neighbors. Due to COVID-19, what normally happens as “Trunk-or-Treat” will look a bit different. Instead of trunks, we will use tables. And instead of setting up in the church parking lot, we will set up on the sidewalk along Merkle and Maryland.
On Thursday, Oct 29 from 5:30-7:00 pm we will spread candy on tables and greet our neighbors as they pass through the neighborhood. And you are the key to a great night.
Please arrive at the church building by 5:15 pm. If you can, bring a small picnic or card table and some non-scary decorations. Once you arrive, leaders will direct you to a good place to set up your table. We will also have simple church invite materials for interested trick-or-treaters. We will all be stationed at our tables to cheerfully welcome our neighbors, meet them, and perhaps share Jesus with them! See you there.
Also, we see rain in the forecast. We will do our best to persevere, even if we must get a little wet. So come prepared with umbrellas and such, if you are so inclined.
